Day 314: Bokeelia, FL

Sunny, breezy and warm.

A BIG OLD DOLPHIN SWAM DOWN OUR CANAL!!

I can’t believe how big the thing is. It’s way bigger than Tom! It took lots of breaths and I think it scratched itself on the oysters against the canal wall. We also saw a very large fish fly out of the water, smack the dock and fall back into the water where the dolphin was. I suspect the dolphin caught it.

Later, after the wind died down, we went for an evening boat ride. We explored around more mangrove islands. Tom did some fishing but caught nothing. We did find lots of no-see-ums. You could see them flying all around in the late afternoon sun rays.
