Day 278: Bokeelia, FL
Sunny and cool.
We went into the town of Cape Coral to get the motor for one of the two davits (mechanical boat lift) on the property fixed. We ended up buying a new motor.
Since we were in town already, I thought it would be a good time to get a pizza. We also had to make a stop at the hardware store.
It’s nice having the RV. If one person goes in the store, the other one has the door to Arvi open, and water and soap ready. The “dirty“ person has to touch nothing, washes immediately and washes credit card or drivers license, etc. I like to think of Arvi as totally virus free, therefore a safe haven.
The man sat the motor down on Arvi’s floor in a cardboard box, then the pizza went on the floor in its box. After having our lunch, I washed the floor very well.
We had an afternoon boat ride and saw an eagle soaring high in the sky. The weather was superb, the kind that makes you forget all the problems in the world.
