Arvi is a Snowbird

While we spent the months of November, December, and January celebrating holidays and skiing cross country in the beautiful woods near our cottage, Arvi basked in the sunlight at a camper megastore parking lot in Fort Myers, Florida.

The megastore was unable to sell Arvi. We were given conflicting reports on why the vehicle didn’t sell. Once we were told they had a decent offer, but thought it was less than the price they were going to pay us, so they didn’t even discuss it with us. Actually, they would have sold it at a profit. Also, the salesman in charge of handling the RV sale was dismissed during this time. Ultimately, the reason they gave us is Arvi is a niche item. This is probably true. Arvi is a high tech and somewhat luxurious vehicle, and camping megastores specialize in pushing big campers out onto the road.

We spent six weeks as snowbirds ourselves. We stayed in a nice little resort park in Jensen Beach, Florida. After that time, we went back to Fort Myers to pick up Arvi and drove it home.
