Day 304: Bokeelia, FL
Sunny and warm.
Capt’n Con’s has been serving people on picnic tables outside Saturday and today. Tom thinks he doesn’t want to get food there anymore.He’s afraid they are not taking the coronavirus seriously.
OK, I need to add a correction. When I spoke with someone at Capt’n Con’s (I bought their “Where The Hell Is Bokeelia” T-shirt), they told me that people were taking it upon themselves to eat their To Go food at the tables. But they made new tables available.
People have been pretty free and confident here on the island. There has only been one case of COVID-19 reported here. People are still keeping their distance, but we see very very few wearing masks.
