Day 261: Bokeelia, FL
Cool with morning clouds.
I went for a long walk in the morning. I realized that, during most of our trip, especially in Alaska and in the southern United States, we have seen where the “have nots” live. Well, here in South Florida, we have seen where the other half lives, the “haves.” These vacation condos are not far from where we are staying.
Pat and Judy came out to see Bokeelia this afternoon. We walked down to the house of the artist with all of the foam figures and he invited us up to the house for a closer look. We were amused at his large Donald Trump head. He let Tom try on a wearable head and allowed me to wear this head as well.
Pat found a hammerhead shark swimming under the fishing pier!
We went out for dinner at The Lazy Flamingo again. No free toilet paper tonight.
