Should we go north on Highway 2 to Dawson City then on to Chicken Alaska or continue west on Highway 1 (Alaska Highway) to the Alcan border crossing? We chose to go north on 2 with a stop over in Dawson City. We are currenly in Fairbanks.

Dawson City YT, Canada is a pretty fun town. It is far from sophisticated.
