We took a slight detour from our route to Rockport to stop at our favorite food truck in Port Lavaca (this place is a gem) . Their crunchy tacos are the best. We learned of a new treat on the visit. The guy behind us ordered two pounds of Barbacoa so we decided to try some. Oh my it was fabulous. We will be trying this at other places along the way to see how it compares.
