Day 310: Bokeelia, FL
Sunny and warm.
For once we got out on the water early in the morning. Early means 10:30 AM – ha ha! The water was calm as glass. Tom did some fishing, then we remembered that Cayo Costa State Park opened today for boaters, but we didn’t go. It’s kind of a distance to go for a little boat, and we don’t know the water that well.
Tom filled up the gas tank at the marina.
Today’s interesting catch was a puffer fish. The little guy kept puffing up and croaking , until Tom let it go back into the water. What an amazing little creature!
We see dolphins just about every time we go out on the boat. And we don’t go out very far at all!
