Day 294: Bokeelia, FL

Sunny and hot.

We had an afternoon boat ride. Tom saw a manatee come up for air. It was the first time we (he) had seen a manatee in this area of Florida.

Another new, thing for us was the horseshoe crabs. As we rode by a small beach we saw something shiny like wet.

We went back to investigate, thinking it was turtles. It was some sort of convention of horseshoe crabs.

I also noticed a popular boat here around gulf islands. It looks like a great way to go!
