Day 127: Cabela Drive, San Diego, CA
Sunny and warm.
We ended up staying with Maggie and Randy longer than we’ve stayed with anyone else on this trip. Tom wanted to rewire the battery charger for Arvi. He ordered parts yesterday and they arrived today, so we stayed around so he could do the work.
In the meantime, we went on a hike called Blue Sky and had an afternoon snack and drink at Bernardo Winery. A jazz band was playing and there were several shops set in the shade of some old buildings. It doesn’t get any better than relaxing in the shade with a beverage, meat and cheese plate and jazz!
In the evening, Randy prepared meatloaf with all the fixings. Since I don’t make a very good meatloaf, this was a big treat, especially for Tom.
