Day 100: SE Shea Ct, Bend, OR
Sunny and cold.
The ranger at Lava Lands told us yesterday that if we wanted to visit Crater Lake National Park, we should go Monday. Monday was supposed to be sunny and warm and they were expecting very cold temperatures and rain Tuesday and forward. Don had golf plans and Kay said she would like to go to Crater Lake with us. So we took Kay’s Escape and drove 83 miles to the park.
We sure did get a great day at Crater Lake. They had snow the previous weekend and there was still a little on the ground, making for beautiful contrasts between the blue sky and water and the evergreen trees.
Instead of hitting another of Bend’s 18 breweries, Don grilled beef tri-tip for dinner.
Breathtaking photo. I love that reflection in the water.
