Day 93: N 83rd St, Seattle
Partly cloudy and cold.
Moving on from Seattle to Oregon! Kelsey suggested going west on I90 then south to Hood River in Oregon. Sure glad we did, because we got to see Mt. Rainier and more of the Cascades in morning sunshine! Since there was some snow in the mountains over the weekend, the trees had snow still clinging to them and it made them so beautiful.
Then it got cloudy again.
We entered Oregon and drove up Historic Highway 30, which goes up the side of the Columbia Gorge. I saw the gorge 10 years ago on a road trip with Allie, and really wanted Tom to see it. He wasn’t too excited about it, until he took these pictures tonight.
the pictures of the gorge look like a painting, beautiful!
