Day 32: Seward, AK

Cloudy, windy and cold.

We went to the Seward library and worked on the website and travel plans.

We have been planning on taking the Alaska Marine Highway to Bellingham, Washington (Seattle) in late August, and seeing some of Alaska’s towns during ferry stops. The ferry system has been shut down for over a week now due to a strike. We are still hopeful that it will be resolved before we need to leave, so we were looking at the schedule.

We went to the SeaLife Museum after lunch. I liked it, but I have been to many marine life museums and would not have paid so much for this one. Many fish were not identified and the sea lions were gone with no explanation.

We then went to the Seward Brewery and shared a flight and a reindeer hot dog on a pretzel bun.

Lastly, we had some business to take care of. We went to the dump station, did laundry, and took showers.
