Jen’s Journal – December 15, 2019

Day 169: Malaquite Campground, Padre Island National Seashore, TX

Foggy and wet, giving way to windy and warm.

Another walk and garbage pickup on the beach at Padre Island, and we were on our way.

We went 23 miles north to Mustang Island State Park, where they have electric hookups and showers.

The wind became fierce. Tiny bits of sand hit Arvi. Since it was warm, we had the door open, and soon I noticed the counter had a gritty feeling.

We didn’t stay outside long. I did some online Christmas shopping, took a shower, and that was about it.
