Day 113: Monterey Way, Sacramento, CA
Sunny and warm.
It’s been all California sunshine since we left Lassen Volcanic.
After a morning soak in the hot tub, we walked to a coffee shop with Ross and his way-cool dog, Pinto. Then we went on our way.
We had such a nice lunch and afternoon visiting Rod and Rita and their three children. I have seen my cousin Rodney maybe once a decade since we all grew up and they moved to the San Jose area. What a delightful family.
We got to the Inn at Tres Pinos after dark. Tom and I had a delicious calamari appetizer. This is a Harvest Host member so we get to spend the night parked near their guest house.
