Day 111: Monterey Way, Sacramento, CA
Sunny and warm.
Well this was a great day. We started off with coffee with Ross and his coffee friends, two of whom lived in Alaska for a very long time. So much to talk about!
Unfortunately, Rita was out of town for the weekend, so we didn’t get to see her any more. Ross went to work and Tom and I did laundry and caught up on day to day chores. We met more of Ross’ friends for drinks and then went for sushi downtown. Ross walked us around the state capitol building and told us some history of the state.
A cool and pleasant evening to be outside.
I talked Tom into taking advantage of Ross and Rita’s offer to sleep in the guest bedroom. They have a most comfortable Murphy bed!
