Day 109: Monterey Way, Sacramento, CA
Sunny and warm.
We left early for an appointment for an oil change for Arvi.
The oil change, and a couple other minor items, took over four hours.
Then we drove to Lassen Volcanic National Park. I’m getting too old for these drives up steep mountains with dramatic drops at the edge of the road. I just can’t look sometimes. And I get this nervous feeling all the way down.
But the scenery in Lassen is beautiful and we had blue skies. We learned more about how volcanoes shape the landscape. Then we camped at the end of the drive in the park. It’s cold here.
We watched a movie for the first time on our trip. The setup in Arvi worked out pretty well!
