Day 5: Duluth, MN
Cloudy and cool.
For the first time, we spent the night in a Walmart parking lot last night. It went fine. We got up and bought a few needed supplies from the store: we already left a mat somewhere on the ground and had to buy a new one. We also forgot a vegetable peeler and a long spoon to use in a saucepot. I even got a tetanus shot. I am becoming a Walmart fan because of this trip!
Just remembered, we also stopped at a Menards and that’s where we got the mat. It’s for brushing off the shoes well before stepping into the RV. That’s how it came to be lost. We used it at our lunch stop two days ago.
We had lunch at a lakeside stop in Orr, MN. We showed Arvi to an interested woman.

Today we visited Voyageurs National Park and I bought a National Parks passport finally. We hiked at Rainy Lake (it was sunny) and had dinner at International falls, MN, just “South of the Border.”
