April 15, 2019
Today was the last day of tax season. It was crazy busy. We were supposed to close at six, but closed closer to 7 PM. Lots of people came in and got the return signed off and paid for today. The last three days of work have been super busy.
April 16, 2019
Surprisingly, we had very few phone calls and it was quiet. In a way, it felt like 9/11, when no planes were in the sky. There was sort of a weirdness about going from so busy one day to nothing the next day.
April 17, 2019
We had our third annual shred party at work today. We expected a lot of people, because we talked it up a lot longer than we had talked up the previous two years. I don’t know if we got very many more people or not. But somehow, I feel like my work there is done now. I thought I would stay until May 2, but maybe only a few more days…
