The Berkey Travel water filter arrived yesterday. Got it assembled, primed the purification elements, and performed (successfully) the red food coloring test. It is ready to go. Now to find a place in Arvi to secure the purifier. Below is the Berkey and the specs for the purification elements.
We bought a smaller Berkey Go unit thinking there would be no room for the Berkey Travel. However, we found a nice nook for it and kept that unit. So now we have a new Berkey Go Kit for sale.
We have been using the Berkey for filtering water for our coffee pot and for drinking. It has done well clearing up cloudy well water and improving the taste. So far we are pleased with the Berkey.
