The international service plan from AT&T for the time the four of us of us were in Finland would have cost a total $600 A more frugal option is to buy SIM cards once you arrive in Finland. You can get these at a convenience store (7-11 type store) or from a cell company store.... Continue Reading →
Bears and Buffalo
On the road through British Columbia to the Yukon there is a lot of wildlife. In the past two days we saw 15 black bear and hundreds of Buffalo. There was also the occasional caribou and deer. Here is a video of a cute bear and a herd of Buffalo. https://youtu.be/u0mWJI9Geag

275 miles, and 7 hrs with stops in Wawa for fuel and along the way to take photos at the many roadside lookouts. The drive around the north shore of Lake Superior from Sault Ste Marie to Neys Provincial Park reminded me of Finland. There are so many along the route like we saw in... Continue Reading →

It is the lot for the picnic area/boat ramp. https://youtu.be/IlyJcig02rw The Soo Locks Visitor Center is a nice place to view the locks. You can watch freighters go through the locks. It's like watching... Continue Reading →
