Day 29: Outside Denali National Park
Rainy.
We drove South toward Anchorage and stopped at two view points for Denali. Too rainy and cloudy to see The Mountain.
In Anchorage we spent an hour at the library and I finished my compliance training.
We drove on toward Seward and Whittier and all of a sudden we found a large sign with toll rates. It turns out that you have to drive through a one-way tunnel to get to Whittier. But it is all so beautiful. Not the tunnel. We were driving along blue waters surrounded by glacier-topped mountains. There was even a viewing point for beluga whales (we didn’t see any, but I did see a black dorsal fin emerge from the water several times.)
