Day 320: Wertz Christmas Tree Farm, Franklin, OH

Cloudy and cool, looks like rain.

Ohio is green and looks like spring. It looks like home. The redbuds are in bloom.

Roads noticeably worsen

Raining cats and dogs

Less leaves on the trees the further north we drive

Not much traffic

We are wearing long pants and sleeves (first time since March 8th)

We must be in Michigan.

We picked up Joseph the dog from Tom’s sister, Linda. For an old crippled guy, he looks great. Linda has been very good to him. It has been exactly one year since we left him with her on May 14, 2019.

Driving down Old State Road towards Blueberry Lane, I looked across to the state land where we ski cross country. It really feels like we were just skiing there last month.

There are only small buds on some trees.

A robin has built a nest over our garage doors.

So now we get to watch spring arrive!
