Jen’s Journal – March 22, 2020

Day 267: DeBary, FL

Sunny and hot.

First thing in the morning, we set out from DeBary to Bokeelia with the boat. A panhandler remarked that we were “rich snowbirds.”

We missed a turn and ended up in downtown Orlando. So now we’ve seen that! Again, not much traffic.

When we did our daily walk to the Bokeelia fishing pier, there were new signs saying only paying fishermen could go on the pier. Previously it was set up so you could walk maybe 50 yards before the gate which only paying fishermen could pass through. Apparently people who walked on the pier weren’t keeping proper distance from each other.

Also, the picnic tables that Capt’n Con’s takeout had set up in the parking lot were removed.

The weather is still beautiful.
