Day 151: Roswell, New Mexico
Sunny and cold.
Roswell is a hoot. I like it when a town has a shtick. There are aliens at lots of the businesses. I made Tom go to the McDonald’s that is part flying saucer. Then I made him turn around for the “Welcome to Roswell” sign.
On to Carlsbad Caverns. Tom says they’re the best caves he has been in. They have one large room that is over a mile walk around it. I felt like I was walking down the gullet of a very large monster at times. Use your imagination with these pictures!
There is an interesting drive to the park. After driving through scrubland for a day, we entered the Guadalupe Mountains. We drove seven miles through these to get to the caves. The environment is a nice change.
Then the rain started. It was a perfect day to visit the caverns.
Hello.
It is World’s oldest surviving diving suit! 🙂 It is in a museum in Raahe.

Hi Sartenada, I read your post. Is that a diving suit, or space suit?
